[2021/Feb – Review] Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop

I bet when you are clicking in the post, you somewhat, have heard of Klairs’ best selling product – Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop. However, you’re wondering whether this product actually worth the hype or not? hmm…..

A good news for you: I have had some pimples with pus (due to stress and lack of sleep, I am assuming) to test out this serum! So yes, there are before and after’s pictures to show you guys!

Notable Ingredient

  • Vitamin C (5% Ascorbic acid): brightens the appearance of dark spots.
  • Centella Asiatica Extract: soothing and calming properties, anti – inflammatory
  • Yuzu Extract: a fruit extract that riches in vitamin C – boosts skin immunity and protects against free radical damage
  • Overal p.H level: 3.5
light-weighted, clear white oil-like drop!

Texture:

  • Feel like dry oil – but works really well on my oily skin.
  • Clear, white liquid.

Let’s me briefly explain about the texture – this serum is a little bit special

When you pump out a few drop and apply it onto your face, it feels like dry oil. However, when I start to massage and spread the product, it’s actually not sticky or oily at all. This serum absorbs into my skin really fast – basically like you’re applying a cream texture. My skin felt really smooth and fresh after all!

So yes, it’s not a sticky serum!

Scent:

In the past, I had worked with several chemicals, but this serum has a really bearable, light scent of a typical, acidic serum.

Dealing with acne + pus:

When my pimple started to has pus inside！

I have been using this serum from the 19th of Jan until today 3rd of February, and so far, I love it!

It’s actually work in healing acne scars and also fighting against dark spot. I’m trying to use this serum consistently, every night, to treat my acne and pimples. My skin’s condition and overall texture are improving.

After I used a pimple patch + this serum

There is an open wound (you can clearly tell in the second picture), but this serum doesn’t irritate that area. Swollen pimples flattened down after 2 days – so pus did not have any chance to develop. So definitely, anti-inflammatory property is very effective !

Applying only this serum on my forehead for days!

As you can tell, that old acne spot is lighten. So, I will definitely keep on using this product !

Final note: don’t mix Vitamin C with any products that has AHB/BHA in it. Vitamin C might be degraded! And keep you Vitamin C serum in a place where there is no sun exposure!
